Cremation Services
Families who choose cremation appreciate the quality service that we offer. Families who wish to learn more about the cremation process are encouraged to contact us.
Many options are available to those who choose cremation services. Below are some brief descriptions
of those options, designed to help you make your decision in planning a cremation funeral.
Cremation with traditional funeral
With this arrangement visitation is held for one or two days, with the deceased viewed in a casket, and concludes with a traditional funeral service, followed by the cremation. Giving friends and family an
opportunity to view the deceased helps them in their grieving process. This service can also be personalized with a display of photographs and memorabilia of your loved one.
Cremation with viewing and funeral on same day
Similar to the service outlined above, this includes visitation and a traditional funeral on the same day, with the deceased viewed in a casket. Cremation takes place after the funeral service.
Cremation with memorial service
In this arrangement the cremation takes place prior to the memorial service. This memorial service can be held in the funeral home or church and can be at any time that the family desires.
Immediate cremation with no services
This service does not include any services prior to the cremation process, nor does it include any services after the cremation process. With this particular service the family usually wants to keep things as simple as possible, whether it be for religious reasons or financial reasons, or just personal choice.
What do I do with the cremated remains?
The cremated remains of the deceased will be given to the next of kin. The next of kin can select an urn from the funeral home and keep the urn in a safe place at home or have them buried in a cemetery. We even have small keepsake urns that some families really like. This allows each family member to take a portion of the cremated remains with them. Other options would be scattering the cremated remains or having them
placed in a monument at a cemetery. There are many options available.
For further information, please don't hesitate to call and talk to a member of our staff. We can go over any questions you might have on the phone or we can set up an appointment to sit down and go over things in person. We do keep what we call a 'General Price List' at the funeral home. The 'General Price List' contains prices of our services that we offer along with the description of those services. We would be glad to mail you a 'General Price List' or if you would like to come in we would go over it with you. There are no obligations or costs for doing this.
