Condolence From: Kellie Compton
Condolence: I so wish I was able to express my sympathy in person, but I just got back in town yesterday. I am still in shock over this senseless loss of a beautiful life. Trent and I met when he worked at Lynwood and our lives have crossed many times since. He will be truly missed. I guess God needed an amazing teacher/coach for his work in heaven. Prayers and sympathy to his family- may God give you peace.

Condolence: My heart is so heavy upon learning this news. Just watching Ted and Holly talk about their children is to see their eyes light up and their smiles are wide with joy. Though I never had the pleasure of meeting Trent, just knowing that he was raised by two of the finest people I know is to know that he was the product of endless love and pride. I pray for God's comfort and grace for your entire family. Please know that you are loved, cherished, and very well thought of.

You've impacted many young lives through your teachings and involvement. You'll be greatly missed. May the rest of your days be spent carefree in the sun with water and limes...or lemons.

Condolence: Trent Conn was my 5th and 6th grade teacher. He made class fun for me and my friends. Many jokes were made. Mr. Conn was just the right teacher to help anyone with work or just laugh. He was my favorite teacher. I am where i am with math because of his help in math. And I truly thank him for that. And when we met his kids they were just so sweet and adorable. Trent did not deserve this. He deserves to be with his family at all cost

Condolence: I was one of Mr.Conns students for my math and science (years 2017-2018). There wasn’t a single day where he didn’t put a smile on my face . He was the only teacher I told everything to. He could always turn something negative into a positive. I am so glad he isn’t suffering . I am praying for the Conn family I am so so sorry for your loss.

Condolence: Trent thank you for being such an inspiration to me. Your warming smile and positive outlook on life will be a treasured memory. Even when we worked at Summer Advantage you were always so positive and simply amazing with the children. Something I will never forget. I also got to witness what a fantastic and dedicated father you were when you picked up your son at preschool every day. You will be missed by all of Decatur Township so very much.

Condolence: I didn't know Trent as a dad or husband but we played baseball together as kids and lived around the corner from each other. He had a big heart and came from a loving family. We lift up prayers of comfort for the family and know that God has them in the palm of His hands.

Condolence: Where do I begin.. We met Mr Conn 6 years ago, when my daughter was in 6th grade. He was wonderful! My son then had him as his 6th grade teacher two years ago. Oh the difference this man made in my child's life will forever be remembered! Ben had a very rough year in 5th garde and I strongly feel that Mr Conn being the patient and caring teacher that he was played a big role in who Ben is today. Both as a student and a young man. Thank you Mr Conn you will be truly missed!! And my prayers go out to his family!❤❤

Condolence: I was a student of Mr. Conn’s In the sixth grade. He was always my favorite teacher. He taught me a lot of lessons that were not just apart of school. He taught me that I should always be myself and that if anything I should be proud of who I am no matter what. He taught me many other lessons that I still use today. I will always cherish the happy and loving memories he was always apart of. I am so sorry that he passed but he will always be apart of our hearts.

Condolence: Trent was my student teacher. He had a great balance of serious and funny. The kids knew that he cared because he remembered and talked to them about the things that might seem little to adults but were huge to kids. I know that he will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Condolence: Mr Conn, he was more than a good teacher. He was a good person. He wasn't overly strict, but he wasn't chaotically lenient, letting anything happen. He pushed me and many other students to do their best, and excel, in more than just math. He, to this day, is my favorite teacher I've ever had.

Condolence: He wasn’t my teacher,I had another, but when I talked to him at recess or the time we played Jenga and my friend threw a block at him he was always so kind.He didn’t get mad over silly things and I can’t insgine what his family is feeling.Lately, everyone good has been dying and sadly he was a victim.I pray that his family can get past this and smile at the good memories they have of him.
