Hovey Marie (White) Glidden, 70, of St. Augustine, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Nov. 23, 2018, at 7:15 p.m. surrounded by her family.

Hovey was born Oct. 31, 1948, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Dave and Faye White who preceded her in death.

She attended Mooresville High School and worked for Indiana DMV for several years. She loved music, cooking and family gatherings.

She was preceded in death by Maurice Glidden, husband, and Steven Hand, partner. Also, a sister Diana White and brother Rich White.

She is survived by a son Brandon Glidden, sisters Connie (Larry) Chrenko, Margaret “Kitty” Dalton, Marcia (Bob) Nelson, and Tammy (Chuck) Smith, brothers David (Rejeanna) White and Gary White.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 11 a.m. - 12 noon on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville with Hovey's brother, David White, officiating her celebration of life service at 12 noon. Hovey will be laid to rest in a private family burial at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
