David L. Cline, 79, of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on May 6th, 2019 with his loving family by his side. He was born to Ralph and Fern (Devine) Cline on September 19th, 1939 in Indianapolis. He married Catherine (Milburn) Cline on February 4th, 1978.

David is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Catherine Cline of Indianapolis; three loving daughters, Erin (Bill Godsel) Cline of Indianapolis, Sarah (Mike) Smith of Indianapolis and Carrie (David) Brown of Indianapolis; seven grandchildren; and one sister, Joan Marshaus of Ft. Wayne. He is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ralph, Richard and William Cline; and a sister, Mary Colson.

David was a Press Operator for International Paper for 16 years, retiring in 2008. He enjoyed golf and following the Chicago Bears. He lived in Indianapolis all of his life. He especially loved all of his grandchildren.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8th and 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, May 9th at Jones Family Mortuary in Mooresville. Pastor Billy Gott will officiate David's celebration of life service at 11 am. on Thursday, May 9th at Jones Family Mortuary. David will be laid to rest at West Newton Cemetery.
