Obituary for John E Brancheau

John Edward Brancheau, 71, of Quincy, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1st, 2019 at the Roudebush VA Medical Center of Indianapolis. He was born August 7th, 1947 in Indianapolis to John "Jack" Elmer Brancheau and Marjorie (Mears) Montgomery. He resided in Indianapolis most of his life.

John is survived by his son Tony Brancheau of Danville; a daughter, Jocelyn (Dan) Charleswood of Coatesville; a grandson, Andrew House; son in law, James House; Former spouse, Senda Smith; two sisters; Ann Foley, and Becky (Larry) Paynter; two brothers, Mark (Felicia) Brancheau, and Denny (Susie) Brancheau; and several nieces and nephews and life long friends. John is preceded in death by both of his parents, John "Jack" Elmer Brancheau and Marjorie (Mears) Montgomery; a brother, Jimmy Brancheau; and a daughter, Davanna House.

John was a 1966 graduate of Decatur Central High School. He served in the Air Force as a SSgt during the Vietnam War. He was the owner and operator of J&S Restaurant Parts and Service in Indianapolis since 1995. His Son Tony owned the business with him and his daughter Jocelyn and son in law Dan Charleswood worked along side him as well. He enjoyed working on old cars, golfing and fishing. John had a love of life.

Family and Friends may show their love and support from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday July 9th and 10-11 a.m. Wednesday July 10th at Jones Crossing in Mooresville. Pastor Tony Cannon will officiate John's celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Wednesday July 10th at Jones Crossing.
