Obituary for Mary Ann Humphrey (Schellenberg)

Mary Ann (Schellenberg) Humphrey, 73, of Covington, Georgia peacefully left her brother Fred's home to go be with the Lord on Friday, August 23rd, 2019. She was born December 17th, 1945 in Indianapolis to Walter and Dorathy Schellenberg. She married the late Robert Lee Humphrey on June 15, 1968.

Mary Ann lived most of her life in Indianapolis. She was a 1964 graduate of Decatur Central High School; worked in the processing department for Banc One Indiana; was a member of Daughters of America - Indianapolis Chapter; was a huge Elvis Presley fan, loved the beach and enjoyed traveling.

Mary is survived by two siblings: Walter "Fred" (Virginia) Schellenberg Jr. of Georgia and Norma (Joe) Nusbaum of Indianapolis. Mary is preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband.

Family and friends may show their love and support from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 28 and 10-11 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2019 at Jones Family Mortuary, Mooresville. Pastor Jim Taylor will officiate the celebration of life service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 29th at the Funeral Home. Mary Ann will be laid to rest in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Greenwood.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, St. Jude Childrens Research, 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
